Dear Friend,

I am writing this to you from the delivery room.

That's right. I am in the delivery room and I'm about to meet my firstborn child——my son, Fitzgerald Scott Scheper, aka "Fitzy."

I have written about the theme that is present in the hero's journey, and that theme revolves around rebirth. That is giving birth to a new person and a new identity.
