Dear Friend,

"He's probably not going to college. You shouldn't get your hopes up."

These were the words my fifth-grade teacher told my parents. Can you believe that? A teacher——someone who's supposed to inspire and encourage——telling a kid to "lower" his expectations. And you know what? For a long time, I believed her.

For years, I thought I was stupid. I was the class clown, the kid who couldn't sit still, the one who teachers rolled their eyes at. I assumed I wouldn't even get into college.

And yet by some miracle——or perhaps a clerical error——I got into college. And this was terrifying. Here I was, the "stupid" kid, surrounded by people I was sure were geniuses. But some part of me still believed I could figure it out.

So I did something crazy. I started taking notes. Not just any notes, mind you. I wrote everything out by hand on these little 3x5 index cards. Every lecture, every textbook, every random thought——all of it went onto these cards. And you know what happened?

I Started Getting A's!

I'd review this stack of 3 x 5 notecards every morning. Just random stuff I was learning with no organization. I'd pull them out on the bus, when I was waiting for a class to start, eating breakfast in the morning.

And somehow what I was reading started to stick. Now mind you, there was no organization like I have now in my Antinet Zettelkasten. This was a random heap of stuff. But I started to see what was possible when I actually wrote things down by hand and reviewed it. I realized that obnoxious teacher of mine was wrong. I wasn't doomed after all.

Listen: If I had taken what my teacher said at face value, I never would have tried. If I had believed what she said——and I almost did——I would not have gone through the hard process of creating new knowledge. I would have just stopped when I had to do some real thinking because it hurt——blaming the pain on a fake lack of ability.

And that's exactly why I'm writing to you today. Because——if you're like the majority of people with a world shattering book inside them——I bet there's a voice in your head——maybe it's your own, maybe it's someone else's——telling you that you can not do it. That you're not smart enough, not talented enough, that the book you want to write would never sell.

I wrote a book about a dusty German handwritten notecard system developed by an academic born in 1927 that used it to write academic textbooks. Try selling that idea to your friends and family. And yet somehow this teeny tiny niche book is earning me six figures every single month.

You see, what I discovered wasn't just a note-taking system. It was a way of thinking, a way of learning, a way of creating that unlocked potential I never knew I had. Of bridging together thoughts in a way that creates knowledge——not just information. Of creating genius level insights who's power will punch the faces of those demonic teachers who seek to tear young class clowns down...

And It All Started with Believing I Could Do It!

You may feel like this is Tony Robbins inspirational drivel. You may feel like this is cliché. But it is cliché because it is so true. When things get painful——and trust me, writing, thinking, creating can be hard——if you don't believe it's possible, if you don't believe there's a payoff, you'll never even try. Lack of time becomes the convenient excuse.

Listen: We all have the same 24 hours in a day. What separates those who make their mark and those who don't isn't time——it's belief.

Without belief, without a clear vision of success, it's easy to waste time on Netflix binges, endless social media scrolling, or fake productivity masturbatory tasks like creating new folders in Obsidian. But with belief——with the conviction that your words matter, that your ideas can change lives——suddenly...

You Make The Time!

Because when you believe——truly believe——that your work will pay off, you invest your time rather than spend it. You choose the hard work of creation over the easy distraction of consumption.

I have a detailed framework for how I go about teaching this in my writing incubator Write to Freedom. If you would like to spend your days reading, writing, thinking, taking notes, using your Antinet——all while making a killer, multi-six figure living by only writing one thing a month——then I would like to share with you what I know is the most powerful business model out there for independent writers, creators, thinkers, coaches, consultants, and heck, anyone.

I've put together a detailed 44-minute video that shows you everything there is to know about this model. Go ahead and click the link below to watch this video:

After watching, we can have a friendly, casual discussion about any questions you have. If it's a fit, great. If not, great——but at least you'll be educated about the best business model out there for independent thinkers and creators like yourself.

A lot of people have trouble believing their work could create a successful career for them because they've never seen it work before. But when you have a successful model——and you can see exactly how you could take something you've written and create a business around it that earns you one thousand, ten thousand, even 20 thousand per month——once you see the vision, it becomes a whole heck of a lot easier to believe it is possible.

That's why I love doing these calls. Because there's always this buzz that seems to happen about midway through. Where the lightbulb finally turns on for someone, and they see the future they could have. They see how their lives could change. It's like a golden path opens up before them. Where that little voice that says "I can't" finally quiets down. And they realize it is all possible. That book they were born to write not only can get written——it can give them a high-quality life from writing it.

These calls are fun. I'd highly recommend——even implore——you to hop on one. Because when you finally feel what's possible——when you know it deep in your bones——it's like Hagrid, Gandalf, and Morpheus all showing up at your door at the same time. You're about to go on an adventure. The only question is, will you accept the call?
