Antinet Book Update + Looking for an Editor
Scott P. Scheper

Dear Friend and Fellow Antinetter,
I hope you're having a great week.
I just finished another writing session for the Antinet book.
I'm about to wrap up the chapter on the tree structure of the Antinet (it's the first "t" in "Antinet").
I started writing the chapter on Monday. It now sits at 8,649 words (which comes out to 40 pages). As Johannes Schmidt writes of Luhmann's Zettelkasten, it turned him into a publication machine. I now feel what he says!
The section I wrote includes deeply-evolved, well-thought out content with footnotes and book references galore.
But who knows, I'm the only one who's read it—so it could be complete trash!
I'll opt for the more positive outlook, however. I'll even go out on a limb and declare, it's really damn good. Or, at least, it will be really damn good!
I'm working primarily on finishing up the book right now. Although it's an ambitious target, I hope to have the first draft done in two months.
This brings me to the next phase: the editing phase of the book. After that, it's the feedback phase.
A good chunk of you on this list are my beta readers. So you'll be getting called upon for feedback phase!
After I complete the first draft, my plan is to hire an editor and really get down to business making the book exceptional.
This brings me to something I want to ask of you...
Do you happen to know a book editor (aka, copy editor) who is exceptional? Do you know anyone who would be perfect to work with me on this book? Even, perhaps, yourself?
I'm looking for an exceptional editor. Someone who has experience and has helped authors produce exceptional books before.
I figure it would be a good idea to seek help from the universe and call upon my amazing community of Antinetters (aka, you) in order to find a great editor.
If not, that's fine, too. I'll begin searching and interviewing an editor myself in the next several weeks.
Anyway, that's an update on where I'm at with the book.
I can't wait to share it with you.
In the meantime, you can gather glimpses of the content by watching my YouTube videos.

Anyway, it's 4:37 pm right now and I got to the office at 11:20 am. I haven't really worked that long today, but I'm ready to head out already! Writing really takes it out of you. Even when it's a blast!
Before I head out, however, I want to make you aware of one more thing:
I'm doing 1-on-1 Antinet Coaching Sessions still.
I've got one planned every week for the next month. You'll see each one published on my YouTube channel.
If you want to receive personal 1-on-1 Antinet coaching from myself, then please fill out this application:
Antinet 1-on-1 Coaching Application with Scott
I'm doing these 1-on-1 coaching sessions in order to help refine and simplify my content teaching how to build and work with your own Antinet Zettelkasten.
This 1-on-1 coaching isn't a long-term thing, so if you're at all interested, check it out and give it a whirl before I stop doing it forever!
Warm regards and as always,
Stay crispy, my friends.
