Book Update, Stacy 'The Rockstar,' and other Antinet Stuff

I hope you're having a great week.
I am not.
The reason why is this: I've only written fourteen thousand words this week and I was hoping for thirty thousand.
I'm kidding. I've written a heck of a lot this week. Fourteen thousand is a lot. Basically, I lied. My week is going great.
Just a quick update on the Antinet book: last week, I finished an awesome (lengthy) chapter called The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Antinet. This chapter is like the Getting Started Guide I've posted on my website. But this new guide is the version on steroids. It's super detailed, and contains lots of pictures, etc.
In brief, the goal is to teach people the Antinet in a super detailed way.
This week I'm cranking through a vital section in the book.
You see, I think of the Antinet as a Knowledge Development System (a KDS). Screw the whole Personal Knowledge Management system term. You don't want to 'manage' your knowledge; you want to develop it!
A Knowledge Development System contains four critical phases:
Selection (i.e., what material should you select from the books you read, and what books should you select in the first place)
Extraction (i.e., how should you go about extracting material from the books you read)
Creation (i.e., how do you create knowledge. Hint: there are three main types of notes: (a) excerpts, (b) reformulations, and (c) reflections)
Installation (i.e., how do you install the knowledge in your Antinet and chain it together with the other linked leaves on your tree of knowledge).
On Monday and Tuesday, I wrote the extraction section. Today I finished the selection section.
The book is shaping up to be an absolute beast. I've surprisingly had a lot of fun writing it lately. I'm enjoying the process and stressing out less.
Anyway, that gives you a glimpse into that area of my life.
A more practical realm of the Antinet is that of my 1-on-1 coaching sessions.
I had an amazing session last week with someone I call Stacy, "The Rockstar."
If you haven't watched the video yet, you need to check it out. Here's the link:
This video is especially valuable if you're still new to the whole Antinet Zettelkasten realm.
In brief, if you are new, you're in the right place.
You've joined the community of people who are developing their minds and developing knowledge the old way, the right way, the best way. The only tool we need is a pen, paper, and our brains. It's shocking how unpopular it is to use just your brain these days!
Anyway, I look forward to continuing to share this journey with you.
It makes writing a hell of a lot less lonely knowing there's an incredible community of people on the other end who have my back.
I can't wait to share all of this with you once it's ready...
Oh, and one more thing before I go!
I found a fantastic editor who is a fellow Antinetter.
Thank you to those who replied to my email a few weeks back about finding an editor.
Let's let the magic and momentum continue.
If you have any questions on how the Antinet works, and if you want to start developing your mind in the meantime using the Antinet, head over to our Reddit community. I hang out there and check it whenever I have the chance. Here's the link: https://www.reddit.com/r/antinet/
Warm regards and as always,
Stay crispy, my friend.

P.S. If you haven't seen it yet, I've been posting some awesome preview sections of my book. I usually post them on my Twitter feed and on Reddit. These are brief sections from my book. They're usually not edited, nor are they grammar checked or spell-checked. But there's good stuff in there.
Here's a link to the most recent one. It's titled Search is a Bug, Not a Feature: https://twitter.com/ScottScheper/status/1514017784585367565

Peace and love.
