Yesterday I loaded up my budding family into my slime green Cybertruck and drove to the Reagan Library in Los Angeles to see the Dead Sea Scrolls. I was expecting maybe 30 people. A small crowd of history buffs and religious scholars. Instead, what I found absolutely floored me.
Over 300 people were standing in line——a three-hour wait just to glimpse fragments of ancient text. The line snaked around the building like some sort of ancient pilgrimage route.
